Students will be taken through fashion design process. Students will learn the art of fashion while working learning color theory, production sewing and consumer behavioral science. They’ll also work with the cool tools and critical questions designers face every day. Here’s their opportunity to explore how fashion can be their tool for making the world a better place!
Learning to design fashion isn't all glitz and glam! We've got great kid-friendly ways to teach students to be designers that are aware of human behavior, great problem solvers, students of history and other cultures, be knowledgeable about math and science, and understand and use technology. Students, aged 8-13 years old, will engage in fashion project-based learning to enhance their decision-making and critical thinking, to solve issues, create and innovate, all while having a blast!! They will leave with the confidence of their own competence and creativity. And with the ability to explore how (maybe through fashion, or any avenue they choose) they can change the world!
