COURSE OUTLINE
- Tools and terminology
- Stitches: Regular stitch, topstitch, basting, understitching
- Seam finishes: Zig zag, Booked Seam
- Preparing, marking, and cutting fabric
- Garment construction including fitting techniques and adjustment
- Attaching facings and interfacing, sewing darts, clean finishing armholes and necklines
- Hemming a garment properly
COURSE DURATION: 4 weeks, once per week
