Level 2 Intermediate / Advanced Sewing

Continue to hone your sewing skills learning proper pressing techniques, using  specialty seam finishes, invisible zipper and fly zipper applications, pleating,  tucks, ruffles,  etc., bringing  sample sewing projects to completion.

Pattern Making Fundamentals

Learn the fundamentals of pattern creation, drafting from body measurements to develop basic slopers. Various styles will be created using manipulation techniques. The concepts of good fit will be covered in order to complete a final garment

Kids Fashion Vacation Day Camp

Week-Long Intensive,  Mon thru Fri 10am--2pm

Fashion Design  & Fashion Illustration    $225

In the Fashion Design Day Camp, kids and teens learn illustration, tracking trends, finding inspiration, fashion sketching, technical  drawing. They'll create mood boards, presentation boards and protfolios

Free-Hand Cutting Class (DISCONTINUED)--See Patternmaking

Learn the "secret" techniques to measure out and cut simple, to more advanced styles directly from fabric without a pattern. Learn to analyze and duplicate magazine fashion styles or sketch and cut original designs, using the free-hand cutting method.

Prerequisite: Level 2 sewing or comparable skill
