This intensive training course (24 sessions) teaches you to operate and use sewing equipment, tools and construction techniques. The program includes instruction and ‘hands on’ experience in all aspects of apparel construction. You will also need to understand and solve fitting and pattern problems, learn and experiment with specialty fabrics. Graduates of this program may be employed in the apparel industry or may choose to work for her/himself. Graduates may specialize in garment repair or custom tailoring for women's garments, such as dresses, blouses or pants.

Qualified students upon completing this course and all assignments, will receive a certificate of completion to be used as recognition of professional training in the field and advice to help you achieve success.
