INSTRUCTOR BIO:
The extremely talented Daniel Mayorga studied Graphic Design and Illustration at Sacred Heart University. He also holds a degree in fashion design. Upon graduation, he interned at Kithe Brewster Inc., famous stylist to the stars. His clients ranged from Heidi Klum to Gwyneth Paltrow, Tyra Banks and the House Wives of Atlanta. Daniel is also an experienced and impassioned teacher, helping others achieve their fashion dreams

SKILLS & TECHNIQUES:
Learn to measure a body properly
Learn to drape a dress on the dressform mannequin
Learn to make a toille (a test muslin)
Learn intermediate to couture sewing construction techniques
Learn dress design and fashion illustration
Complete an original dress/gown
Take a 8 day fashion trip to Paris:

Fabric and Supplies:
Student should bring muslin fabric, measuring tape, Fabric scissors, Paper cutting Scissors, thread, pins, a seam ripper, hand needles, Dot pattern paper, mechanical pencil, clear ruler, L square ruler, hip curve ruler, french curve ruler and magic tape
Prerequisite: Some Sewing experience using commercial patterns a plus. " 4hr Learn to Sew in A Day"
